Emerging Tech 2005
The Call For Proposals for Emerging Technology 2005 has went up on the O’Reily website. Given the fun I had last year launching the UIQ version of the OPL Runtime, I’d like to be invited again. I only talked briefly about OPL last time, so this time I’d like to grab one of the three hour Technical Seminar sessions and show you lot what it can really do. And be there as a generic Symbian fan – they’re under represented in the USA at best. I’ve asked O’Reily what sort of feedback my intro to OPL got to help me (and them) decide if it’s a good choice. Hopefully the chances of getting selected are good, otherwise I’m going to need to blag me a delegates pass.
Memo to Rick and Phil: if this happens we’ll need to have TextEd on the phones so the Mac crowd can do something with OPL…

aahhh…etech 2005….look forward to seeing OPL, the crow and you in action again…. :)
Thanks Mick – given that I’ve still to write the actual submission yet, I can say at least one person will be in the room. Of course you’re just there for Crow, aren’t you. Nobody turns up for the puppeteer…
..and Crow’s a bugger to get throuh the ept Homeland Security checks.
