Myers, Moon, The Who, and the Perfect American SitCom

News just in (ahem) that Mike Myers is to play Keith Moon in a bio pic. But what struck me in the BBC article was this paragraph.

[Keith] Moon shared a house in Los Angeles with John Lennon and Ringo Starr, and was close friends with T-Rex’s Marc Bolan.

Is it just me or is that perfect set up for an American SitCom? With Ringo in the kitchen, curlers in his hair, always cooking Bubble and Squeak, Yorkshire puddings and Shepherds Pie; John being stalked by a small female Japanese propoerty developer who wants to split the gang up to get the land the house is on; Marc would be scared of trees and always trying to find his ‘inner masculinity’ while Keith would be, well, Keith.
