TPN Tech Conference Podcast, My March in America 2006 and Sponsorship Opportunities

AA 777So, following up on my post about the adventures in March, I’ve had a number of emails from people claiming that “I’m mad,” “what are you thinking,” and “will you come and see me?” I’ve also had a few conversations with the organisers from some of the conference I plan to attend (namely BarCamp, ETech, SXSW and Mix 06).

Right now I’m just looking at the Podcast coverage that I can do from these events, and a mad plan (almost as mad as the Edinburgh Fringe Podcast idea) is forming – to podcast a one hour daily show from each of these events (12 days of shows) along with a huge number of individual interviews of around 20 minutes each (so ballpark that at around 25 interviews) all under TPN Tech Conference channel. Yes that’s a proposed 37 shows in 21 days. Which is roughly double the rate of shows I had to do for the Edinburgh Fringe, but (conversely) it should take a lot less time recording and editing.

Anyway the point of all this is that with that number of podcasts, I’d need to be in the USA for all that time to cover all the conferences to that depth. Which means raising some money. Which means that, in the same way as TPN Rock covers itself, there’s a number of Show Sponsors and Advertiser slots now available for the Tech Confence’s Mega-Trip in March!

You get my unbridly enthusiasm, both a web and a podcast presence, and a huge number of male alpha users / early adopters listening to the podcasts. In other words, prime marketing demographics for internet companies. If you’re interested, drop me an email, ewanspence@gmail.com.
