Podcast User Magazine Launched
The Britcaster guys have done it again, with the launch of Podcast User Magazine. It’s a PDF based publication, for free download, and issue one is a cracking read. Always nice to see everyone’s perspective on the news, and the coverage of Mark Hunter’s departure from Podshow with Tartanpodcast has raised my eyebrow. Beyond Adam Curry saying “Mark’s left” on the DSC, has there been an official comment from Podshow on Mark’s departure?
Part of me would assume that they’d want something out there wishing him well, after all, it was Mark’s decision to leave, and from what I read online it was harmonious all round… But then, if the model of Podshow is “all podcasting roads, clues, urls and journalistic rolodexes lead to Podshow” then the last thing you want is to draw attention to a departing flagship show that wasn’t going to switch to a three times a week production schedule and use the new distribution/hosting system. No you’d want to replace it as soon as possible, and then hope nobody asks you about “the strange family member from Glasgow you don’t want to talk about.”
