Why Scotland is Civilised
Can I just remind you all that unlike the rest of you, Scotland is a civilised country, and that January the Second is a public holiday with as much standing as January the First? I’ll see you all at work… tomorrow.

Well, I always knew Scotland was a civilized country, made even more special by making Jan 2 (my birthday) a holiday! Hope you have a great “extra” day off!

To be strict for a moment, it’s more one public holiday for the Scotch (the first) and a second to recover from the first!
Now if you could just make the climate resemble the South of France, rather than colder and wetter than London and we might come and join you permanently, given this is one of *many* reasons you’re a more sane country than England ;o)
