Ballmer knows exactly where Windows Phone has gone in twelve months
In a year, we’ve gone from very small to … very small.
Like many mobile operating systems, Windows Phone needs a beach-head. Unlike WebOS and RIM though, it’s not just a carrier partner in the US, it’s the global distribution and manufacturing resources of Nokia. Which gives it a better shot than most and should provide many more digital column inches as the new devices arrive. But will it be Gallipoli or Overlord?

has went… urgh…
I think we all know where it’s been heading, but the current trajectory is likely to change!
How much of a handbrake turn can nokia apply?
I can tell you that there are a lot of exciting things coming from that group. Beyond that, who knows yet but people on a much higher pay scale than me are very confident.
Microsoft can survive this fiasco, I don’t think Nokia can. I can see them going to way of Motorola in the mobile phone market.
