Just ten smartphone apps will rule your life
So now that the numbers show that most people only use a few apps on their smartphone (and hasn’t Steve been saying this for years?), how do we tell the market that the focus on tens of thousands of application in the app stores is as useful as Troy going “you know what we really need is a horse…”

Symbian is dead. Get over it, WP7 rules!
Obviously missing the coverage of WP7 here, and given the sales of Symbian, it;s not going anywhere as quickly as RIM or WebOS.
I wonder if it’s possible to ignore the point of this article any more than Ballmarman has? Personally I think it’s unlikely…
The biggest problem with the internet is that you don’t have to take an IQ test before you’re allowed to use it…
I’d like the next bit of research to count the number of hours globally wasted digging through the detritus that makes up the 250,000 apps in order to find the gems.
