Looking back on the second Edinburgh Twestival

With a final total of over £2625, there’s no doubt that the Edinburgh Twestival can be classed as a success. For a difficult second gig, following up the first Twestivals held in February was always going to be a tough challenge, but the team behind last Thursday’s event managed it with apparent ease. Following on from a glittering, international career of compering, hosting, and performing (ahem), I’ll be compering the upcoming Edinburgh Twestival. Alongside music from Plum and Peter Gregson, I’ll be keeping the raffle on track, getting everyone a-twittering, delving into the psyche of the audience (or at least the person silly enough to sit right in front of the stage), raising as much money through the raffle and auction, and all the other stuff that comperes do.
