As Daffy Duck Would Ask, Does This Mean War?

It’s always interesting to wake up and find that you’re at war. The Archduke Ferdinand seems to have been this innocent tweet from a listener: The Guardian vs The Stage Edinburgh Fringe podcasts. The Stage’s wins hands down I’m afraid.  @benmorrisillo The Guardian team had their reply ready: “This means podcast war! We won’t go down without a fight!” To which of course the only playground reply is “my Dad’s bigger than your Dad.” Which The Stage promptly did in their Chit-Chat column… Tabard’s completely unbiased view is that The Stage’s podcast is at least a million zillion gazillion times

Daffy Duck says Today is Twitter Cartoon Day

Apparantly today is going to be Twitter Cartoon Day, with the rather splendidly simple idea of changing your avatar over to your favourite cartoon character. Would there be any doubt that I would go for the enternally optimistic, full of wacky ideas, Daffy Duck? I find it interesting that Twitter is a place where the altering of avatars is seen as another way to communicate.
