Looking at the Family Lifestyle Filofax Pack

Regular readers will know that I’m a big user of my Filofax, and while it’s great for day to day stuff and some basic GTD techniques, it really comes into its own with large events, such as SXSW or the Edinburgh Fringe (and subsequent podcast). I tend to have half an eye on the Filofax website for new twists and ideas, and while most of the time I just go there for new paper refills and to look at the many new designs of Filofax they keep coming out with, sometimes I stop and go “oh that’s a nice idea.”

One Hundred Episodes of The PSP Show!

I’ve just finished uploading the 100th episode of The PSP Show. It’s only taken three years (at roughly one episode every eleven days) to get here, but the short look at the world of the Sony Playstation Portable, with the latest news and a current game review continues to gather fans around the world. Here’s the show – it’s a quick fire look back and comment on the content of the previous 99 shows. Tiger Woods Finally Sinks a Decent Game on the PSP

After a few goes, it was a delight to review the latest Tiger Woods PGA Tour 10 game on the Sony PSP as this title actually works. Very little has actually been added since last year’s attempt, but the tweaks and changes in the code make it playable. All this, and more in the latest news in the world of the Sony Playstation on TPN’s PSP Show. [audio:http://psp.thepodcastnetwork.com/audio/tpn_psp_20090720_99.mp3] MP3 File – Show Notes – RSS Feed

iTunes Reviews of The Edinburgh Fringe Podcast

In the run up to August 7th and the start of the Edinburgh Festival Fringe, I’m getting the word out about this years Fringe podcast in a variety of ways that only the internet can. So, taking a leaf out of all the good podcasters promotional playbooks, I’m reaching out to the magazines and newspapers, the websites and blog, and also asking people who’ve listened to the show to jump over to iTunes and leave a review. Visit the Edinburgh Fringe Show on iTunes, or subscribe with the regular RSS feed.

Rock Band Unplugged Makes Its Way to the Sony PSP

More podcasting fun, but this time with well-established bands as The PSP Show takes a look at Rock Band Unplugged. Harmonix, the developers, actually have form not just in the ‘pretending to play along with big instruments’ games, but also in the rhythm games. Their PS2 games Amplitude and Frequency used the same principles as they’ve used in Unplugged, and in short this is a great portable version of the modern music game. As well as a full review, the latest news and my views of the PSP scene are in the latest show [audio:http://psp.thepodcastnetwork.com/audio/tpn_psp_20090703_98.mp3]MP3 File – Show Notes –
