Pipemania reviewed on this weeks PSP Show

Starting to get back into the swing of this, with podcasts recorded next to a mixing desk (yaay) as opposed to out in the wild and placing the microphone at various distances from people for live gain control! Anyway, time for a new PSP Show. This week it’s the turn of Pipemania to fall under the review spotlight; it might be an old style game, but is it still addictive enough and has the PSP version refused the temptation to spoil it by adding too much rubbish? Rescoe Bubble on the Nokia N95 is a Great Timewaster of a Game

Over on All About Symbian, I’ve just posted a review of Resco’s new mobile game. Called Resco Bubble, the idea is pretty simple,. Using the accelerometers on the Nokia N95, you tilt your phone to roll a marble around the screen, picking up bubbles in numerical order. The catch is you cannot touch another bubble that is out of sequence – then you start again. Simple, addictive and quick to play. I like it! The full review is on All About Symbian.

The Latest PSP Show looks at Fifa 09

Over on the rebuilt Podcast Network, the latest PSP show (and my first podcast of the new year) has went live. As well as the latest news on the PSP scene over the festive season, which amounts to Japan bought a lot of them, but not as many PSP’s as DS’s, there’s a review of Electronic Art’s FIFA 09. There’s Another PSP Show Podcast Ready!

That just means I have a lot of news to get over as well as a review of the Media Manager software from Sony. Listen here, subscribe online, and leave comments at The Podcast Network. A Close Shave? Or A Cheaper One? Both in Fact!

Last week, the jungle drums were ringing out looking for scottish bloggers who needed a shave – turns out that King of Shaves were promoting their new Azor razor, alongside their existing gels, balms and shaving oils. All this blogger had to do was turn up to their great big bus at Kinnaird Park to experience a new way of shaving. Naturally I let my stubble grow out over 6 days to see just how good it was… More on King of Shaves at their blog.

The PSP Show reviews Tiger Woods ’09

The latest editon of The PSP Show is now available to listen (or download) over on The Podcast Network [audio:http://psp.thepodcastnetwork.com/audio/tpn_psp_20081001_81.mp3] Show Notes – MP3 File – RSS Feed This week, it’s a review of EA’s Tiger Woods PGA Tour 09. I always find it tough to review golf games on any platform, simply because Nintendo’s original Gold game for the first gameboy was an utter classic and spoiled me. How did Tiger get on? You’ll have to listen to find out.
